5W Winery is an authorised reseller of Veenwouden South African Wine, located at Northern side of Paarl on the Part / Wellington Road. With spectacular views over the Klein Drakenstein Mountains.
The planting of the new vineyards commenced in 1989, and by 1993 12 hectare was finally under wine vines. As the most famed vineyard in Paarl, Veenwouden adopts Bordeaux -style viticulture and winemaking.

The Boutique cellar is loosely based on the functionality of the smaller Pomerol/St. Emilion Chateaux, combining the architectual charms of Tuscany, Provence, and the Cape.
In the past two decades, under Mr Marcel Van Der Wart, a legendary winemaker's dedicated management, the cellar has earned many awards in South Africa and over the world. As a rising star in the wine world, its reputation reaches to Switzerland, Germany, USA, Japan and Hongkong.

Veenwouden, a Boutique winery, where care, patience and pride is taken to produce our wines, is wholly contained within a valley, and the vineyards lie on a gentle slope, facing northeast toward the Berg River.
